SAP RL environmentsEarly access
SAP RL environments are resettable SAP systems with masked, production-realistic data, business tasks and automatic scoring. They're built for AI labs and agent builders to train and benchmark agents on procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, finance and HR work, without touching real customers or employees.
For AI labs, RL environment providers and teams building agents on SAP.
Scoring
A task only counts as done when SAP ends up in the right state and nothing else has changed. Every task is scored on four things, read from the system itself rather than from what the agent says it did.
Scenario library
Every task pairs real SAP work with a check that scores it. Routine work teaches the basics; edge cases and adversarial requests teach the agent when not to act. Open a process to see example tasks and how each is scored.
From requisition to payment, with the tolerances, release strategies and payment blocks your system enforces.
From customer order to cash, including credit checks, returns and partial payments.
Journal entries, reconciliations and period-end close, where a wrong posting is expensive to undo.
Employee data in SuccessFactors. HR uses can be high-risk under the EU AI Act, so only anonymized employees go in.
What's in the box
The same tasks and the same scoring. Choose between your own SAP system and a synthetic one built for scale.

Every episode becomes training data, so what goes into the environment matters as much as the tasks.
We've got you covered
A resettable SAP system with tasks and automatic scoring. An agent attempts a task, the end state is checked and scored, and the system resets so the next attempt starts from the same place. Repeated many times, that is how agents learn multi-step SAP work.
The foundation is available today through TDM for SAP: masked baselines in your own SAP landscape, reset through the API. The scenario library, scoring checks, run comparison and the SAP-shaped mirror are being built with early-access customers.
From the SAP state after the episode: the right documents created or changed, values within tolerance, and nothing else touched. You can add rubric or model-graded scoring on top.
That is what the SAP-shaped mirror is being designed for. In your own landscape, parallel episodes are set by how many SAP test clients you run.
Rights to train on episodes and traces are agreed with each early-access customer. Personal data is masked consistently or generated from scratch, whichever option you choose.
Keep a held-out split that is never shared, and generate new tasks on request, so you can re-test on tasks no model has seen.
In your own landscape, agents act through interfaces SAP already exposes; the mirror offers an SAP-style API. Your trainer starts and resets episodes through an API, so any model or framework that can call tools can use it.
Only for an environment in your own landscape: read-only, to build the masked baseline, with nothing installed in SAP. The mirror needs no SAP access at all.
